龍洞 X DRAGME COLLECTION

This event has ended. thank you for your support! All profits from this event went towards 龍洞 revolting efforts.

TRAVERSE

The iconic 龍洞 traverse approach.

My kids sauntered quickly across this without ropes. Not me. 黑糖 had to set up rope and cams so I could clip in and inch my way across with my non-climbing daughter while we marveled at the ocean directly beneath us.

This drawing is of 阿郎 carrying a giant log over one shoulder and casually walking across….in SANDALS.

TRASH UNIT

This drawing is of 阿郎 on 龍洞 Crag Cleanup day. The reference photo is from Jamy Chen (another amazing local figure who rope-solos to get the best photos for @rock_climbing_in_taiwan)

In spite of being covered in trash, it reminded me of an haute-couture runway shot. I wanted to show the true beauty in keeping the crag beautiful.

LOG UNIT

This drawing shows the work required to maintain 龍洞 approaches and landings. The reference photo is from Tina Ku (@tinaku1991), an all-around outdoor enthusiast.

REBOLT

Rebolting is critical in keeping the crag safe, especially since 龍洞 is constantly exposed to the salty ocean environment.

I used bolt and anchor pieces to sketch the word “rebolt.”

ANGLE GRINDER

This drawing is an angle grinder removing unsafe bolts and abandoned equipment.

GLUE GUN

This drawing shows glue gunning to replace bolts along the route.
